In our busy and chaotic worlds today, we don’t want to just survive. We want to…thrive.

Can you think without thinking? This is another one I am currently reading and find it fascinating. Of course, I’m kind of a nerd for psychology. Malcolm reveals that your greatest strength may be in going with your instinct, spending less time deliberating and more time trusting your gut.
“How do our brains really work-in the office, in the classroom, in the kitchen, and in the bedroom? And why are the best decisions often those that are impossible to explain to others?”

Books for Entrepreneurs the List Continues…
At first look, this one may seem a bit out of place. But as it turns out, Mr. Ben Franklin had an entrepreneurial spirit.
“Walter Isaacson chronicles the adventures of the runaway apprentice who became, over the course of his eighty-four-year life, America’s best writer, inventor, media baron, scientist, diplomat, and business strategist, as well as one of its most practical and ingenious political leaders.”
Dive deeper into the life and mind of this American icon and see what you can learn about forging your own business path.
Son of the famous copywriter, Gary Halbert, Bond is taking his Dad’s lessons and adding his own flair to bring us the best in copywriting tips. I learned about this book through a recent copywriting summit I was watching online.
While I am more of a professional blogger than copywriter, I know this book will contain a ton of knowledge to make my writing better.
“Nobody has ever covered the subject of editing copy to the degree outlined in this book and even the most seasoned ad writers have been learning a lot from the secrets shared inside this instant classic.”
A friend was kind enough to send me a copy of this one and it is a great reference book for all your marketing needs. Branding, advertising, social media, networking and more are covered in this thick copy. This remix is,
“…a combination of the latest secrets, strategies, tactics, and tools from more than 25 top selling Guerrilla Marketing books.”

“For markters, this book is among the most important books written in the last ten years.” Journal of Mariketing Research
What are your assumptions about life and work? Are they true?
There may be more alternative options than you think. Break free from a life of conformity and discover how to live on your own terms.
“Inspired and guided by Chris’s own story and those of others who have pursued unconventional lives, you can devise your own plan for world domination-and make the world a better place at the same time.”
Is your brain on board with your entrepreneurial spirit?
Elite entrepreneurs have a mindset for success. In order for us to achieve that success, we have to change our thoughts.
“To achieve unimaginable business success and financial wealth—to reach the upper echelons of entrepreneurs, where you’ll find Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, Sara Blakely of Spanx, Mark Pincus of Zynga, Kevin Plank of Under Armour, and many others—you have to change the way you think.”
Different entrepreneurs have different online mentors that they connect with most, Jim Rohn is definitely one of my favorites. The principles he taught are timeless.
Tony Robbins, who first met Jim Rohn when he was 19-years old, said Jim, “had a positive impact on me at a time in my life when I was first forming the philosophies that guide me today.”
Jim Rohn has enhanced the lives of many with his down to earth tone and stories.
This one is a classic for a reason. Anyone running a social business needs to know how to interact and influence. People skills 101.
“For more than sixty years the rock-solid, time-tested advice in this book has carried thousands of now famous people up the ladder of success in their business and personal lives. Now this previously revised and updated bestseller is available in trade paperback for the first time to help you achieve your maximum potential throughout the next century!”
Read this one earlier in the year. Anyone who reads Jeff’s work knows he is a great storyteller. In this one he has us look a work differently. As a calling, as a form of art.
USA TODAY, WASHINGTON POST, AND PUBLISHER’S WEEKLY BESTSELLER!
One of my favorite quotes from the book,
“I used to think that your calling was about doing something good in this world. Now I understand it’s about becoming someone good—and letting that goodness impact the world around you.”
Ready to make a difference in whatever field you choose to work in? Seth Godin shares his wisdom on choices and potential.
“Now there’s a third team, the linchpins. These people figure out what to do when there’s no rule book. They delight and challenge their customers and peers. They love their work, pour their best selves into it, and turn each day into a kind of art.”
This one has been on my “to-read” list for a while. Maybe it’s time I get to it!
Another popular one by Seth, but this one is all about finding and leading your tribe.
“The Web can do amazing things, but it can’t provide leadership. That still has to come from individuals—people just like you who have passion about something. The explosion in tribes means that anyone who wants to make a difference now has the tools at her fingertips.”
Go ahead and lead your tribe!
Another classic. I keep this one on my Kindle continuously. A tale of wisdom and wonder. Turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. A shepherd boy goes on a hunt for treasure and learns valuable lessons about life and the heart along the way.
“Santiago’s journey teaches us about the essential wisdom of listening to our hearts, of recognizing opportunity and learning to read the omens strewn along life’s path, and, most importantly, to follow our dreams.”

“Brilliantly structured, friendly and inspiring, On Writing will empower and entertain everyone who reads it—fans, writers, and anyone who loves a great story well told.”
A bestseller in time management, this is another one that has become a cult classic in the entrepreneurial world. Even if you are passionate about your work, cutting down on the time it takes can free you up for more creative time to pursue hobbies and increase your skills.
Living more and working less now instead of later.
Escaping the 9-5 is amazing even if you do choose to work more, you can do it passionately!
A newer one in the mix, I haven’t read this one yet. But, I have been watching the free videos on YouTube that Tony put out with the book and learn so much with every single one. In the book, Tony shares his 7-step blueprint for securing financial freedom. Tony is a person who really cares about people and wants success for all.
In these economic times, I think all of us could use some honest information on getting our financial houses in order.
“With expert advice on our most important financial decisions, Robbins is an advocate for the reader, dispelling the myths that often rob people of their financial dreams.”
A cornerstone of becoming a successful entrepreneur or online business owner is productivity and organization. It comes naturally to some, but others…not so much. Chris went on a year-long discovery to put together the best tips on managing time and energy for a more efficient and freeing life.
“In an eye-opening and thoroughly engaging read, Bailey offers a treasure trove of insights and over 25 best practices that will help you accomplish more.”
Two leaders in the social media field come together to give us the down low on marketing and networking. Social media can be a huge resource for growing and expanding a business along with building a personal brand. But how do you do it correctly?
This “no-fluff” guide can help.
“For beginners overwhelmed by too many choices as well as seasoned professionals eager to improve their game, The Art of Social Media is full of tactics that have been proven to work in the real world. Or as Guy puts it, “great stuff, no fluff.”
