“Modesty is great, and quietness is nice, but sometimes it’s much more fun to be decadent.”
~Interior designer Robin Standefer of Roman and Williams
Ladies, If you are not working in a glam space, you’re missing out! Putting that feminine touch on your home office need not be difficult and expensive, however. Today, I’m sharing a video with you of some quick tricks to add a bit of sparkle via Miss Liz Heart. Check out the steps with pictures or feel free to scroll straight down to the video…
DIY- Feminine Home Office Decor
1. Reuse a Candle Jar
Make use of those lovely candle jars from Bath & Body Works by cleaning them out and filling them with your favorite things. Liz used nail polish colors of the season. This is an easy way to add some color to your desk, plus you can keep up your manicure while perusing the internet on those slower work days. Pops of color on your nails can be so motivating, am I right!
2. Pearls and Fresh Flowers
What lady doesn’t love fresh flowers in her office!
Fill a vase with pearls, I know glam right! Add flower or flowers, and you’re done. Although, I would add a bit of water and an aspirin so the flowers last longer.
3. Candles From Drab to Unique
Mod Podge + Glitter = A Fab Candle DIY
Choose your glitter, put some Mod Podge in the pattern of your choice, and sprinkle.
4. Primp Your Frame
Purchase some glitter scrapbook paper, cut to the size of your frame, and place inside. Get creative!
Frames do not have to be for pictures only. You could set on your desk as a tray, stand it up and use a dry erase marker on the glass for a chic note board, or hang for wall art!
Got another idea? Let’s hear it in the comments!
5. Glittery Flower Bouquet That Lasts
You will need another candle jar and some leftover glitter paper. Put the glitter paper inside, with the glittery side facing out. Add some flowers from your local craft store and enjoy the lovely.

Ah very cute! I have a quote on my wall that I absolutely love, in a simple gold frame.
It reads “My favorite position is CEO.”
Just cheeky enough to make me smile, but not so vulgar that I have to take it down for a work Skype call.
