What, where, when, why, how?
You’ve got questions don’t you? Working from home is exceptionally rewarding, but can be confusing, overwhelming, and unstable at times. If you are going to work from home, you have to develop a learning mind. I’m here to share resources with you to make it easier. Hey, we’ve got to stick together!
With that, today I’m sharing another great platform to learn business skills- Udemy.

Udemy presents a large variety of courses and for the most part, I’ve found them to be good quality. I have completed courses through Udemy on freelancing, entrepreneurship, and social media. One course even helped me finally create a business plan. You receive a certificate of completion with most courses. If you are struggling with blogging, creating landing pages, guest blogging, and/or email marketing, Udemy has you covered too.
If you are looking to make some extra cash, there are even courses on how you can become a Udemy instructor yourself. I have found Udemy a nice place to make business connections, as well. Instructors are often impressed when you complete the course and I have had a couple reach out to me and offer help. This is a wonderful way to build your LinkedIn connections, learn, and grow. Who doesn’t need more mentors in this business right!
Udemy’s Mission: Help Anyone Learn Anything Online
“Udemy is the world’s online learning marketplace, where 8 million+ students are taking courses in everything from programming to yoga to photography–and much, much more. Each of our 32,000+ courses is taught by an expert instructor, and every course is available on-demand, so students can learn at their own pace, on their own time, and on any device.”
There are many free courses available and discounts are offered on paid courses often. That is one of my favorite things about Udemy- they offer discounts where you can get courses that would normally be $200 for just $10-15. A fantastic way to save money while learning the skills you need when you’re just getting started as a business owner.
If you already use Udemy, I would love to hear about your experiences and favorite courses in the comments. If not bookmark this post and check it out. Be sure to check the Udemy site often for those special deals. I love to share special deals and offers in our weekly newsletter, so if you have not signed up yet, you can do so here: Immensely Social Newsletter
