Work is important. It supports our families and communities. I love what I do. But I’m also passionate about saving time when working online.
Here’s why:
When we can do more for our businesses in less time, we have more time for other things like spending time with our families, time for self-care so we stay healthy, and time for personal and yes business development so we keep growing. Time for what is important to us.
That is why I love sharing tools that can streamline your business activities, like designing pins, and I’ve got a new one for you today.
It’s by my friends at Tailwind and it’s called…
Tailwind Create
I have talked here before about how much I love Tailwind and have used it to share pins for blog posts, online courses, and to grow on Pinterest.
I became an affiliate of Tailwind because I use and love it so if you choose to click through and make a purchase, I will receive a small commission at no cost to you. I was also compensated to create this post, though all opinions are my own.
Designing Pins That Are Unique and Branded
Just being able to upload and schedule Pins, share in tribes, and also review analytics has been so helpful to me in my online business. But now with the new feature of Tailwind create I can create the pins directly in my Tailwind dashboard.
This is not about uploading a bunch of the same Pins to Pinterest rather a way to create multiple, unique pins with your own branding quickly and easily, choose one or two for each idea, and then get them scheduled.
I talked about the Pinterest algorithm and how important fresh pins are in another post collaboration with Tailwind here: Scheduling, Algorithms, and Fresh Pins, and the new creation tool will help with this so much.
As an affiliate, I received early access to Tailwind Create so I wanted to give you a walkthrough of how useful this can be to streamline your pinning process. If you didn’t know Tailwind is a Pinterest partner so they know how Pinterest works and what it loves.
If you do not already have a Tailwind account, you can get one here:
Then go to the request early access page for Tailwind Create and use code CREATEPARTNER2020 in the request form to move up on the waiting list. Early access, you’re welcome!
How Does It Work?
Once you are in your Tailwind dashboard, you will see a new section that looks like a paint brush. Click there to launch Tailwind Create.
If you are diving into Tailwind Create for the first time, you will have the opportunity to set up your brand colors, fonts, and add your logo for designing pins. This is part of the magic. Allowing you to quickly brand every pin you create every time.
Once you have that complete, you can then hit the Start Designing button.
This will take you to a Let’s Get Started box where you will fill out your primary pin information. Where you want the pin to link to, the pin title, and upload the photos you want to use for your pins. The Pin Title is the text you want to appear on the Pin.
There will also be an option to choose stock images as a premium feature or to insert a url.
Once finished you will click create images at the bottom.
I have chosen to link to a recent blog post on doing a life and business audit to create some new pins, uploaded images, and then click create images.
And with amazing Tailwind magic, I now have many pins to choose from with my brand colors and fonts.
I can try on different looks by changing the image or adding or removing my brand colors.
I can edit each pin by moving the image around, adding elements and text, and change the colors to make the pins more unique to my brand.
Once I’m happy with the edits, I select the pins I want and then Go Schedule.
You can watch here:
In the Tailwind publisher, I can say what boards I want the pin to go to, edit the title and description, add to any relevant tribes, check the URL, and decide if I want to add the pin to my SmartLoop.
When I tell Tailwind to schedule drafts, the pins will be added to my posting calendar to share at optimal times for my Pinterest audience. Minutes and done! Engaging pins designed with Pinterest’s creative best practices in mind, with my branding and each image is unique.
I’m not a Designer!
While I do love creating things, I’m not a designer either but you don’t have to be with Tailwind Create. Tailwind is making designing pins easy so even if you do not have design experience, YOU Can create beautiful pins. And even if you are a designer, this can save you so much time designing pins so you can get it done and move on to other important tasks in your business.
It’s fun to just enter my URL, choose my images, and then immediately see hundreds of Pin variations to choose from. It inspires me to keep that fresh content coming that Pinterest loves.
