My Summer Bucket List may be a bit different from those of my US based friends as I am currently residing at the Equator. Our seasons here run differently, but the weather has been nice lately and there is a ton of stuff I would love to do. In “Summer 2015,” I intend to take some for R&R, throw in some creativity, add a visit to the coast and indulge in some unique experiences. You know, switch things up a bit…
I actually already completed this one, earlier this month, and it was lovely. Although we spent 14+ hours on a bus in 3 days, it was totally worth it. I got a different view of the Andes Mountains, drank some cappuccinos, went to the spa, and took a 24-hour digital break!
Spent some time with a wonderful friend, and even went on the “Swing at the End of the World” in the rain.
We also got Fish Pedicures which was the most hysterical thing I have done in a long time!
2. Weekend Reading by Inca Ruins– Pumapungo
I just revisited the museum, ruins, and gardens of Pumapungo and thought, “Why do I not come here to read and write?” Now, that it’s on this Bucket List, I guess I must 🙂
3. Beach Trip- Montañita, Ecuador
I have not made it here yet, but looking forward to the sea breeze! Watch some surfers, eat some seafood…
Grab the GoPro starter bundle if you’re feeling adventurous!
Would love to see your travel creations!
4. Visit the Iguana Park- Guayaquil
Hmm, a bunch of iguanas in one place? I guess I’m game…
5. Visit a Chocolate Factory
Ok, seriously, what is summer without chocolate from South America! Am I right or am I right!
And if you are traveling this summer, check out these packing skills:
Happy summering! (“Summering” is in the Urban Dictionary in case you wanted to know)

Rio de Janeiro needs to definitely be in bucket list. The city is so richly adorned with majestic mountains and breathtaking beaches. Add the ambience, culinary experiences and the rich diverse people and you have a coup d’grace.
